Collagenase
Enzyme for the hydrolysis (splitting) of collagen
Collagenase enzyme splits collagen with release of free amino acid oxyproline. The enzyme can split almost all types of collagen and is able to destroy not only the peptide chain of the protein, but also numerous bonds inside the triple helixes of the molecules.
The enzyme is obtained from a selected strain of Streptomyces lavendulae with subsequent purification and concentration.

The dosage depends on the raw materials and technological parameters of the process. The optimal dosage can be selected by laboratory or production tests.

Cosmetology and medicine
The enzyme collagenase in cosmetic products removes exfoliating skin particles, smoothes skin irregularities, roughness, small scars and scars.
In medical preparations, collagenase stimulates the process of granulation (cleansing of the wound from purulent-necrotic masses, reduction and disappearance of edema, inhibition of bacterial aggression) and does not inhibit epithelization, promotes mild tissue scarring.
